Procedure

Follow the steps below to slice your design so it can be created by the 3D printer

1. Open the Cura program on the computer
2. Click the folder icon in the upper left corner of the window
3. Browse to the .stl file of your design and click the Open button
4. Click the down arrow in the upper right corner of the screen to open the Print settings box
5. Verify the settings are correct for the material that you will use to create your design
6. Click the x in the Print settings box to close it
7. Rotate your design as necessary to minimize any overhangs when it is created
   1. If there are still overhangs then open the Print settings settings box and select the Generate Support option
   2. Adjust the support settings if desired
   3. Click the x in the Print settings box to close it
8. Click the Slice button in the lower right corner of the screen
9. Plug the USB SD card reader with your microSD card into the computer
10. Click the Save to Removable Drive button
11. Click the Eject button
12. Remove your microSD card and take it over to the 3D printer to run your design
